My primary use case is not just finding events by sector, but finding capital allocators and decision-makers regardless of sector, then mapping them to relevant events.
Right now I’m manually uploading CSVs of investors (family offices, PE, infra funds, SWFs, pensions, endowments, university funds, etc.) and separate CSVs of events. It works, but there’s a lot of friction and I’m re-creating logic that WHR could automate.
What would help a lot:
1. Investor persona collections & filters
• Pre-built collections for “Family Offices”, “Private Equity / Growth”, “Infrastructure / Real Assets”, “Sovereign Wealth Funds”, “Pension Funds”, “Endowments & Foundations”, “UHNW”.
• Ability to filter people and events by these investor types + seniority (CIO, Partner, Head of Alternatives, etc.).
2. Better capital-allocator event discovery
• Topic/keyword packs focused on investor events: family office summits, LP/GP forums, institutional investor conferences, capital introduction events, etc.
• A way to see “events where X% of attendees are investors / asset owners” so I can prioritize where to travel.
3. Smarter CSV imports for investors and events
• When I upload a people list, auto-detect / suggest tags like “Family Office”, “PE fund”, “Institutional LP” from company names and job titles.
• When I upload events, allow bulk tagging of the “primary audience” (investors vs operators vs mixed).
4. Cross-linking people ↔ events
• For a given investor, show “likely events they attend or speak at”, based on historical data or your own collections.
• For a given event, highlight “high density of capital allocators” so I can immediately add it to my coordinate plan.
My business is in this sector itself, and the tool can't be specific to it: I want WHR to be the place where I can plan a global capital-raising roadshow – starting from the investors I care about (Real Estate, Agriculture, Aquaculture, Private equity...etc.), then seeing which events put me in the same room as them.
